Thanks for visiting my shop. I am an artist and designer from Portugal, a small country by the sea. Nature is my great inspiration!

I paint, make papier mâché sculptures (usually customized) and many other things, from journals to travel tags and tiles and ceramics. With Society6 I feel very happy that I can use my paints and creations in so many different types of products (otherwise manually I couldn't make them myself).

Avedouda® is my trade mark. Is called avedouda® as a homege to the dodo, which was discovered by the Portuguese in 1505 on the Mauritius island. It was baptized "Doudou" (means "crazy") as it did not offer resistance to capture. The Dodo became extinct. Avedouda® chose this symbol as a message to change our role in preserving the environment on Earth. "Bird Dodo "is its meaning.
