New Jersey-based photographer and graphic artist obsessed with birds, plants, nature, and building/maintaining residential wildlife habitat. Is insanely fond of frogs.
After studying fine arts, photography, and print-making, Nancy shelved her art endeavors for years. After re-purposing her property as a certified wildlife habitat and watching its transformation and wild (pun intended!) success, the interest to return to art re-bloomed as new and exciting plants, shapes, and creatures filled the landscape.
Nancy's artistic style is quite varied, and she often combines both graphic and photographic elements in her designs. Her photography often draws from minimalism and features sultry abstractions from the natural world and focuses on tiny marvels of nature that often go unnoticed. Her graphic works typically feature bold lines, symmetry/asymmetry, and saturated, tropical colors with strong attention to composition. She believes that color can be transformative and has a deep understanding of the psychology of color and light.
Nancy plans on using her art to help maintain and grow her wildlife habitat and eventually start a business helping others do the same to give back to their wild communities.
