Having spent the past 15 years in Hawai’i, Bethany paints her "happy place". Her main sources of inspiration in her artworks are the golden sunshine in Kailua, the spontaneous and playful nature of youth, and the diversity and personality of birds and animals. She also delves into works inspired by the divine feminine, occult themes, energy systems, and the journey to know oneself while striving for balance and harmony with our light and shadow selves.

In her painting style she uses looser strokes with a strong light source paired with bright playful pattern, sharp outlines, and flat color blocking.
