I am a bleeding heart feminist vegan nerd/geek …living in Texas.

My passions have always been character design which lead to my love for clothing. I think of it as personal daily character design!

This lead me to University of North Texas for a degree in fashion design. While there I met great artist with great talents and awe inspiring passion. It was a great series of connect the dot as things in my life started to come together.

For several years I worked in the fashion industry but as I started to really look into the accepted practices of the industry it became harder for me to justify staying. Now I have focused my efforts on designing, drawing and creating 100% free range clothing sewn by myself and other consenting adults.

The blog and open sketchbook policy started most recently as a way of trying to find my tribe. My hope is that someone will see something I write or draw and feel a little less alone or think about something in a way they had not before. The internet is of course a huge part of this because we are in the time where an amazing level of international socialization is available in the palm of your hand. Let’s take full advantage!
