Bo-Danique Bloem’s work (February 28 1989, Rotterdam) has been characterized as dark, anthropomorphic, ghostly and magical.
As an illustrator, Bo-Danique derives passion from telling stories and creating worlds filled with mystique and lore.
Bo-Danique learned to draw by copying Donald Duck comics. Her illustrative endeavours did not stop there. During her years at the Graphic Lyceum Bo-Danique’s versatility developed greatly.
At the Willem de Kooning Academy and later the Camberwell University of Arts (London) her creative endeavours reached their technical peak, giving her the chance to think more conceptually and create her own style. Living in Rotterdam, Bo-Danique is commissioned as a designer on various projects.
