I have been photographing since age 12 when my Dad gave me a vintage rangefinder camera. I took every photography course offered, bought an enlarger, and worked in my basement darkroom developing black and white, gelatin silver prints from my 35mm negatives. I was a National Scholastic Art Awards Portfolio Nominee and was a recipient of the Regional Scholastic Gold Key Award. I began college as an art major, but switched paths to a career in healthcare. I have been back at my passion for many years now.
