Gabriela Barrantes is an established photojournalist from the city of brotherly love. She is a first generation Latina born of immigrants from Lima, Peru. She lives in Philadelphia where she focuses largely in documenting the Latino community. She has achieved both national and international publications of her work and is currently working on a series revolving around mental health awareness.
