The current direction of my work involves both realism as well as a more stylized realism-an impressionistic approach. Artistic details and textures are extremely important to me, but yet, at times, it is enough to represent the subject matter and allow the viewer’s own minds eye insert the details.
The versatility of the airbrush, my chosen form of painting, enables me to paint on a multitude of surfaces. Painting and customizing just about anything will forever be a fixation I have. Fine art pieces and pet commissions usually are painted on smooth surfaces that allow for gradual transitions and sharp lines alike. The use of story has been powerful to me in my work. I hope viewers are able to identify with the stories and see that positivity is a thread that weaves through my work. Artwork on all surfaces and functional art is something I have always pursued. Society 6 helps create that outlet for me with prints at price points that are reasonable.
