Carlos Fierro introduced himself to the art world on the island of La Palma (1988), working in “El Taller” together with his father, Facundo Fierro, and other artists. There he learned engraving and printing, making several etching editions for other artists (José Duarte, Pedro González, Facundo Fierro,...) in “El Taller”. At the same time, he started  making his own compositions. In the intervening years, he has participated in several small exhibitions in La Palma and  Fuerteventura, (Canary Islands), experimenting with digital photography as a new art language. Currently, after some projects and solo exhibitions, he is still looking the way to connect photography and contemporary painting in his own artistic discourse.
