The process and technique in creating my artworks starts with the result of my own experiences and observations. Throughout the years, as an artist, I have learned to see what is around me, then take those observations and manipulate their elements to the end of creating a work of art. I apply what is deep within myself to my work in order to create a work representative of my interpretation of the world. I will often take the essence of reality and bring it a step further, using fantasy to the extent that it will enhance my final work. - Carlo Varo
