My mixed media work often has themes of politics, identity, and female/queer issues, all topics that are a part of my day to day life. I work mostly in collage and mixed media because I feel it’s a reflection of how we live our lives. We learn and experience, absorbing and retaining all sorts of things, and that is how we piece together not only our views of the world around us, but our views of ourselves. My style is indicative of how all thoughts, actions, etc. are just a collage of our experiences.
