I live in Sweden with my dog and soulmate Stella, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I love drawing and painting and writing, my favorite activities when I'm not working.  Stella and my older dog, Chess, who sadly passed away last year, inspire most of my work. This is true even for my photographs, my camera roll is filled with thousands of cute cavalier-pictures!  Another theme for some of my work is kurbits, Swedish folk art motifs. As my ancient ancestor was a professional kurbits painter, I think it is interesting to explore this artform and take inspiration from the traditional motifs to create something new.

I paint in watercolor, guache, pastel and ink, then scan and edit the originals in photoshop and procreate. I'm also illustrating and writing children's books about my dogs, hoping that I will one day be able to publish them, a childhood dream.
