From a young age, I have always had an interest in drawing. I have very little patience, but for some reason I’ve always had the patience to sit and draw a line over and over again until I was happy with how it looked. How I got hooked on Celtic art was the movie Braveheart. That’s right. Bat shit crazy manic-depressive Mel Gibson running around in a mullet and checkered skirt really got me interested in all things Celtic! I LOVED that movie! Still do. Something about it ignited a spark in me that motivated me to learn about history. The more I learned the more inspired I was to create images that had ties to either history or mythology.
I look to continue to learn about myth and legend. I intend to continue to express my interests through drawing and design. I hope to create a unique brand of work that reflects the awesome stories from the past, but has a modern style and edge to it.
