Chelan Ku grew up and resides in the Pacific Northwest. The daughter of two artists, she watched as each expressed themselves and the beauty in the world around them in their own ways. She caught on to their philosophy on how to do art: you see something wonderful and you paint it, photograph it, sketch it, etch it, sing or write about it. She is inspired by color, experimentation, her fellow mankind and nature.
