Hi, my name is Michelle "Chelle" Brantley, and I am a self-taught artistic painter. My fundamental source of inspiration stems from images of people, mostly vintage images of Black historical figures, entertainers, everyday people, etc. I've been a painter of portraits, mostly by commission, for over 25 years. My mediums of choice are acrylic paints, color pencil, and I am now working in oils and graphite. I will be posting those images in the near future
