My name is Chelsea Stone. I am an art teacher, grad student, wife, proud dog mom, and artist living in Massachusetts. My elementary school students are my favorite artists, shameless and apologetically true to themselves. To lead by example, I also hope to show this sincerity in my own work. The mind can feel like a beehive with constant thoughts buzzing that sometimes sting and swell. Putting these thoughts to paper brings about relief from the swarms, creating beauty and softness where there is discomfort or pain. Pencil to paper lulls the hyperactive thoughts to sleep and plants positivity in its place as each work strikes a cord of empathy and compassion in the soul.
