Akron, Ohio native Chris Harvey is a 30-year-old father, veteran, and graphic designer. Chris served in the Ohio Army National Guard from 2007 - 2013 and was deployed to the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt from 2009 - 2010 for a peacekeeping mission. After leaving the military he began working security jobs in the banking and armored car industry and eventually at an art museum. Chris studied Graphic Design at Cuyahoga Community College from 2016 - 2018. From 2018 - 2019 Chris worked as the Design Manager for the @Play project, a John S. Knight Foundation grant winner that focused on interactive art and neighborhood community building. Chris’s hobbies include hiking, bicycling, and making art.
