I currently live in eastern Washington state not far from the Idaho border.
I am retired and paint as a hobby and not as a means to earn a living. Therefore all monies made through the sale of artwork, accessories, clothing, cups, stationary, covers, etc will be used to help find cures and treat children who have cancer. All royalties from these sales will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
The media I use is acrylic paints and my method of expression is abstract art. Art in the abstract allows for open interpretations and changing perspectives, which are both enjoyable and pleasing to observe and discuss. My subject matter is life, living experiences, observations and the human condition. Much like life, my art is not perfect and contains glitches, spots, smears and drips at times. But such is life and art is what it is....imperfections included.
Unlike portraits, landscapes or still-life, one of the most interesting things about abstract art is it can be viewed in many ways. Please take a look at each piece, then rotate it 90 degrees and look again for a different impact, a different perspective. Then repeat....and repeat. There is no 'up or down' with abstract art.
You will notice that I have submitted some of the art twice with a change in perspective as I just mentioned. Doing this double entry also changes the perspective on the accessories as you will be able to see.
Please enjoy and be excellent to each other.
