ChuryEliot is a self-learning artist from Japan. Chury loves to paint abstract art, make marks with various tools, and doodle with pens and pencils, but she is always trying out different styles (since she can’t stick with one anyway. She is too curious.) Her artist name “ChuryEliot” comes from the English Arthur George Eliot who once said, “It’s never too late to be what you might have been.” Following this motto, Chury started creating art at age 37. Making time between her usual office work, today Chury is enjoying making her own art, drawing and painting what makes herself happy every day. “If someone’s mood got lifted by my art even for a second, it would mean the world to me.” -ChuryEliot.
