I started painting after I retired. I had always wanted to paint but had not taken any art education. I learned using books and Youtube at first. Trial and error but within the first year of starting to paint I sold a few paintings. This gave me confidence to keep painting! I love painting with bright colors as it makes me happy! I hope my paintings make you as happy as I was to paint them.
