My name is Troi and I absolutely LOVE shojo ("young woman") style manga art. It's an affinity fueled, of course, by my love of Japanese manga/comic artist Naoko Takeuchi's work (Sailor V, Sailor Moon, etc.) and the Peach Girl manga artist, Miwa Ueda's, work. As a writer I've had many characters come into my head and I've always drawn portraits of them to compliment their individual stories. Nevertheless, this collection in my Society6 shop contains drawings dating as far back as 2003; all of which done by hand in the old-school style. I used pencil, ink, markers, watercolor, chalk pastels, and other little (sometimes unconventional) means to create. And because I love crafting things as well, I combine crafting items such as beads, stickers, jewelry, and scrapbook paper to unfold whatever vision I'm trying to create.
