I've been collecting old paper labels & bookplates for over 30 years. Most of my collection is from Japan, China, India, France and Germany, and it generally dates between 1850 to 1930. All of the original images are small.....some too small to frame. So I greatly enlarge them and the results are stunning. I don't remove the authentic patina that is part of the original image. I love the yellowing, smudges, wormholes, and frayed edges that are inherent to vintage paper. I think that adds character, beauty and history to each piece.

These images are quite rare. You won't easily run across these anywhere else but here.
