Julie Fearns-Pheasant
Over an artistic career of thirty years, I have used many cross-disciplinary methods and techniques for my works on paper, digital illustrations, painting on wood and found objects. I mostly work with themes relating to body image, human relationships and the self. The narrative changes depending on experience, but the heartfelt response is consistent. I have various series; mainly figurative as I 'people watch' and I like capturing moments. My studio’s name ‘Corbeau Artspace’ creatively celebrates the comforting presence of birds and animals that surround us in our daily lives.
