I'm Dan Wallace, a lecturer and medical researcher at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. I teach students about DNA sequencing among other things. My designs incorporate the output from DNA sequencing experiments with encoded messages that are translated using the genetic code - the language of life.

Proceeds from the sale of these designs goes towards funding research into genetic diseases at QUT.
