IN THE BEGINNING In 2009 Dbee gave up her job as a Quality and Environmental Engineer and moved to Penang, Malaysia to support her Husband in his overseas work assignment. Not one to sit around she was encouraged by her best friend Jonathan, supported by her Husband David and inspired by her new found friends in Penang’s Creative Art Club to rekindle her passion for art. She is now enjoying life back in Hampshire with her family and new arty friends in the Emsworth Art Group.

EXHIBITIONS Dbee has enjoyed being part of numerous joint exhibitions in Malaysia and in the UK, but truly loved her first solo exhibition in Penang ‘Lost and Found.’ It gave her the ability to express how lost and alone she felt being so far away from home, family and friends, and how Art saved her sanity. The exhibition ran for 6 weeks.
