Based in the desert southwest, Rebecca Lovewell is a co-founding artist and author at Desert Cat Studios®. Rebecca’s illustrations and line art drawings, crafted by hand, are first burned onto wood panels then digitally styled to create a truly unique art form inspired by nature, scientific discovery, and the elegant craftsmanship of the Victorian era. Each subject and model for her original artwork is meticulously researched then brought to life with an eye toward pleasing even the most discerning contemporary, modern vintage interior décor enthusiasts.

In a perfect marriage of her passion for both writing and art, Rebecca celebrates knowledge seekers and their thirst for trustworthy information. These traits are perhaps one of the best gifts we’ve inherited from naturalists, scientists, artists, and inventors of past eras. She believes that, when we embrace and remember the best parts of our history, we can course correct and move forward with far greater clarity about how to preserve and protect the environment, humanity, and our collective future.
