Hello! Our names are Elaine & Ella Davies (mother & daughter). We are the founders of Designell, a new U.K. design and illustration brand. Elaine has owned several textile companies with her husband Doug and by osmosis Ella has also developed a passion for colour, texture and quirky pattern design. Even Ella's beautiful little children are obsessed with scribbling and colouring (on paper & occasionally on walls) which makes grandma very happy ... not quite so Ella! Our artwork is an eclectic melting pot of many different mediums and styles, especially collage, watercolour, acrylics and digital photo art & mindful quotes which are merged together to create unique multi-faceted artwork. Although we don't fit into any specific "creative box" we create collections to build up a cohesive body of work for each project we do.
