Donnie Lindsey Artist Statement

Spiritual To attain a level of skill and understanding so that the work the Holy Spirit gives me pierces the hearts of those who look at the work and that it may point them to God and what Jesus Christ has done at the cross that they may know God is still alive, loves them, and they become born again and know that God can make them free.

Technical • To incorporate a greater range of color into my working pallet. • To more accurately distill into the images a more precise representation of the story. • To bolster and refine my drawing techniques that support the foundation of the finished product. • To broaden my experience of available techniques Personal – Simplicity in depth of Creativity To blend all these tools in order to bring the essence of my client's vision to life by boiling down events, story's, and actions into the most simple visual statement possible, while still maintaining the integrity of the vision.

As Leonardo da Vinci stated, "Simplicity is the ultimate Sophistication."
