Asya Rylova, also known as dotchminimalist, is a young photographer from Moscow. Asya takes pictures of fragments, details and daily use objects from a whole new perspective.
The light, composition and colour play an important role in the pictures. Often in the images we can see strict geometry - squares, triangles, lines, repetitious ornament. Far from always it is possible to single out the main object - the eye wanders around and cannot stop at something specific. It seeks the essential, but cannot find it: everything is essential. In dotchminimaliist’s photos one may see just a trash can, just a wall, just a door, the other may see nothing.
