The more we see something, the less we perceive it. I try to take what I see everyday and pull from it something new, something a little different to clean my mental palette and hopefully allow me to take in my life with more openness of perception. When I let go and open up, I see that life is movement, change.....space.....not things. The hidden logic of reality is paradox. My pieces attempt to convey the movement of life and many times break the rules to capture tension, conflict, and newness. All of my works (which I will leave to the viewer to decide if they are "art") are a careful and laborious combination of digital manipulation, painting, sketching, and collaging. I hope you enjoy my work, it is deeply personal.
