We’re not blind to this idea, but our eyes are often diverted from it because we’re taught to seek out & celebrate perfection. I don’t always know how my ideas originate. Let’s say they’re mental snapshots from daily life I’ve committed to canvas. These images that inform & inspire run the full range of human emotion, which is messy, difficult, ugly, beautiful & imperfect.
