I truly feel I was put on this beautifully messy and meaningful earth to craft stories and experiences through art speaking to meaning and aliveness.

I am humbly awed and in gratitude for the breath in my lungs and the breath of the universe and all their blessings. It is this awe and gratitude that informs my artwork. For me, painting and drawing is a spiritual and emotional journey…like going to church or traveling quietly in solitude through nature.

My passion is to bring to light many icons and symbolic moments to inform and remind how incredible our life and all the life around us is. My grand intention and dream are to reward the world with spirit moving images that enlighten and provide a sense of enriched wonder and meaning for all.

I am a San Francisco native. I graduated with a BFA in illustration, studying classical painting, glass sculpture, and printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1999. I have also been an active art teacher.
