Don Stewart studied biology and art at Birmingham-Southern College, graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, and completed an internship in surgery at the Mayo Clinic. The day he received his medical license, the young doctor discharged himself from the hospital and disappeared into an art studio, where he has been happily hammering words and images together for more than a quarter century. The Chief Visual Humorist at DS Art currently limits his practice to disorders of the funny bone.
