International tattoo designer, freelance illustrator, MDes degree student and body illustrator based in South Wales with a fascination for life and nature. I've grown up loving the outdoors, being around animals, reading fairy tales and watching fantasy movies so I suppose my fascination started there and expanded as I got older. My artwork has a tattoo style to it and I tend to mainly draw animal and human portraits and things from nature. All of my artwork is done traditionally mainly using pencils, creating detail in fine liner pens and also using coloured pencils on brown paper as I love how the colour seems to stand out. I've always loved drawing and always wanted to pursue a career in it. Over the last 3 years my intention was to focus on my art and push it to be as good as it could be and see what I could achieve. I wanted to focus more on detail, form and shading and found that I do that better with my black and white work where I just use pencil. My inspiration tends to comes from the things I love in life and nature. During the last year I've been experimenting with combining things that wouldn't normally go together in order to create an image that is different and has a new meaning. This skill I find useful as it then enabled me to create a story using one image, it is also useful for creating artwork suitable for both tattooing, merchandising and also creating images that could be used to help the conservation of animals, both endangered and not.
