I was born in Las Animas Colorado in 1976, and have raised three kids in the Appalachian mountains throughout my adult life. I have lived in Asheville, NC for 6 years. I worked as a sculpture, pottery and stained glass artist until I fell in love with photography. In 2019 I intentionally took up mixed-media painting and charcoal drawing. I have a master's degree in fine art photography and have taught workshops and art therapy.I have displayed work in a variety of galleries and solo shows, and won several grants and awards
