Emily Bertucci

Lives and works in Laguna Beach, California

Emily paints primarily in oil paint on a medium to large scale. Her work is figurative and plein air orientated with an emphasis on color harmony and a highly textural surface quality. Living on both coasts affected her work by introducing her to plein air painting and instilling a deep appreciation for the ocean within her. Emily has a propensity to explore the duality and similarity of people in marine environments.

She graduated Laguna College of Art and Design receiving a BFA in Fine Art, in Spring of 2020. She won First Place in Laguna Beach Plein Air Painters Next Generation Paint Out 2017. She was also a Laguna Beach Rotary Club Scholarship recipient and live painter at Grapes for Grads in 2019.
