Hi everyone, my name is Emma Klinkenberg and I am a surface pattern designer. I really love to collect objects, pictures, memories and experiences in life. I am always hunting for new treasures and gathering it into a new form. I would like to share this inspiration with you by my pattern designs.

To me it’s important to see the beauty of ordinary things, get a smile on my face by a surprising combination or just notice the specialty of a certain shape. My patterns are build up from scans or photographs, so you can get as near to the real feeling as possible.

I am educated as a pattern designer, graphic designer and a design teacher. I am teaching at a Graphic design school in Utrecht, The Netherlands for many years now. In the meantime the patterns are ruling my world as I am building on new collections.
