Ethan Frechette was born in Arizona, raised in Las Vegas, NV but now resides in Portland, OR. He is a freelance writer and digital artist while working full time as a nurse at Oregon Health and Science University in the field of Neurology. Mainly working with Parkinson's disease and Movement Disorders. Ethan is always working on a new projects. He is also a very tenacious reader moving between fiction and non-fiction books alike. Ethan has extensive experience in Oncology, Emergency Care, and Hospice/Palliative Medicine as well as other types of health care giving him deep insights into death and the human condition which is often reflected in his art. He is extremely passionate about art, writing and telling stories that speak to the nature of humanity. Motivated to help others learn the preciousness of life and learn to love, Ethan often creates art and writes stories that are influenced by loss from working so closely with death and heart ache.
