In 1984, she embarked on a unique journey, traveling to 48 of the 50 states as a scenic artist with Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey Circus. This exposure to diverse landscapes and cultures across the United States, Europe, Mexico, Canada, and even a year-long residency in Japan, provided a rich tapestry of inspiration for her work.
As an artist, Evelyn's work finds a home in Define Art Gallery in Sarasota, Florida, and her pieces grace private collections across the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Spain, and the Netherlands. Her artistic endeavors have been recognized with residencies and fellowships from various institutions, including the National Parks "Arts in the Parks" program, Jentel Foundation, Dorland Mountain Arts Colony, and The Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts.
