Hi my name is Frederick Green and I created these photographs. Over the course last 40 years of photography, I lived in Tahoe for 30 of those years and had a commercial studio there. I was lucky to be living in one of the most beautiful places on the planet to take some photographs. My photographs are not created in a vacuum there is always a story behind the photograph and how we liked it and why we took it.

During my time as a professional I was fortunate enough to receive the Eastman Kodak Gallery Award for photography and two Fuji Masterpiece Awards for photography as well. In 1990 I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and at the time was given two years to live. Here we are 28 years later and i'm still taking photographs. I had to give up my business but my passion for photography has never faltered. I hope you enjoy all the images and a portion of the sales from these photographs are donated to the Michael J Fox foundation for Parkinson’s studies research and development of cures.
