I am a traveler, a teacher, a runner, a wanderer, a rock climber, an avid book reader but most importantly an artist. I enjoy painting pieces of nature and texture with an abstract twist. I primarily use watercolor and ink. While painting I try to layer colors to get the most realistic feel but then outline each individual layer to expose them in the end. I like being able to see an artists hand and brush strokes within their work and this is my way of showing each layer that I build into my pieces. I get inspiration for my work from traveling and enjoy being able to capture images from my trips into art work for everyone to enjoy.
