Gloria Nova was born in Columbia. she discovered her father's painting supplies at the tender age of 5 and was fascinated.

She has been studying, developing, exhibiting,, teaching for many years in Columbia . Due to the difficulty of life in her home country, her whole immediate family moved to the United States. They have been blessed and found a safer more prosperous and free life there. She is grateful to her new country. And is now a citizen of the United States.
