As a storyteller himself, translating concepts, abstract ideas, and feelings ideas into a tangible reality is what Gooey tries to achieve with his artwork.

Gooey’s art is inspired by many artists like Keith Haring, Miro, Roy Lichtenstein, Ai Wei Wei, De Kooning, Gabriel Orozco, Gottlieb, Gorky, Motherwell, Turrell Kaws and Shepard Fairey.
