TPowers, ( Tam) is a self-taught artist of Cherokee descent. Born in the Chicagoland area, she took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, Tam developed an appreciation for her majestic surroundings. She would often sit in trees for hours with pencils and pad, or sit in a meadow with watercolor and canvas. Years of artistic expression made it clear that Tam's life would be centered upon her passion for art. After high school, she attended Graphic Art school where she discovered graphics, illustration, writing and printing.

Much of her work is influenced with the flavor of her native descent, however this artist is extremely versatile in that she can accomplish most styles that she puts her hand to. A rare talent.

Tam is now a professional artist full-time while dealing with disabilities that hinder her . She lives in Atlanta with her fiance' Michael, 2 cats Chloe, Calypso, and 2 Siberian Huskies; Kodiak and Troika.
