Laurie Ann grew up in southern Louisiana and became enthralled in the vibrant art community from a young age. The tropical atmosphere inspires artists and photographers worldwide to capture indigenous plants and flowers that bloom in breathtaking colors of the rainbow. From gorgeous azaleas in pink, orange, and purple to the creamy, lush magnolia flowers, nature was her palette.

She moved to Phoenix to attend grad school and studied the art of stained glass and glass blowing. When she moved to California, she started working with acrylics and became enthralled with the abstract effects that could be achieved with fluid acrylics and resin. She continues to work with glass and paint to create beautiful work.
