I’ve spent most of my life travelling, expression through dance and art, and working my butt off in different kinds of creative businesses. But I’ve always come back to art as a way to ground myself, to unwind, and to remind myself that I’m more than a job, or a title, or the stuff that I have in my house.
For this reason, I’ve always simply given away my art. It was a way to share a part of myself, that not a lot of people knew about, and I never wanted my art to turn into a job. I’ve come to realise that something you would do (or in my case, give away) for free, could never be a job. It’s a passion, and I’m loving sharing it with all of you.
My inspiration comes from my travels, my family, shades of light and dark in the sky, the rain… I mean, the list goes on, but when I get an idea, I have to follow through with it until it’s done.
There’s something magical that happens when you look at a piece of art that resonates with you. A stillness, a calm, a sense of excitement, and I hope to express that with every piece that I am lucky enough to create.
