Karen Hochman Brown is an award-winning Los Angeles-based digital artist who uses her own photography as a base for manipulation in 2-D formats and animations. Explorations in this field have led to projects involving prints on fabric married to laser-cut wood elements as well as purely digital forays based in line, shape and movement. The work is sensitive to the inherent beauty of the subjects she captures as she strives to magnify that quality of beauty through focus and repetition.
