Hugo Simon is a Paris-based emerging artist focusing on ink, pastel and digital media to produce luminous artworks loaded with symbols, mysticism, and a contemporary touch. His inspiration are to be found in 1800s European symbolism, psychedelia, french comic book illustration, and contemporary photography and art. Currently a temporary resident at the 59 Rivoli, Hugo Simon has engaged in a handful of exhibitions in the french capital over the past few years, including one at the heart of the city not far away from The Beaux-Art.
