Hi! My name is Maria Sylvia Llamozas & I am the artist behind ia Llamozas. In my shop, you will find handmade paper collages ✂️ made with magazines or card-stock playing with Matisse's paper-cut technique and cyanotypes made with flowers and natural plants under the sun. I have collaborated with Airbnb, Neubau Eyewear, and Vogue Spain, and now you can shop some of my designs in my Society6 shop.

My inspiration comes from nature and telling stories. I am originally from Venezuela, a beautiful country with exuberant flora and fauna where I studied journalism. I moved to Barcelona in 2008 and fell in love and was inspired by the city so I started making collage, it was a wonderful way to tell stories and incorporate nature. I am mostly self-taught although I have done some collage courses both online and IRL. In 2018 I started to focus only on my passion decided to pursue my career as an artist. In June of 2021, I moved to Tenerife on the Canary Islands with my husband (a photographer) and our french bulldog Lola (oh yes, I am a dog 🐶 lover).

Now I share some of my creations in prints and photos as well as some of my husband's photos ... it does not get much better than life on an island 🏖️👙🌴

My future goals: Continue to work on my art 🤩 and inspire others while wearing flip-flops and being tanned all year round.
