Bianca Balan is a Romanian-born character artist currently based in Grimsby, UK. After a childhood spent in MSPaint and on paper, Bianca carried on to pursue art as a career and enrolled in a digital design and animation course in London, where she also found her passion for 3D as a new medium of expression. During this time she also polished her skills by working as a freelancer, with work done in concept artistry, creature design and character design (+ various other graphic design and illustration work). She currently works as a Game Artist for Single Effect Studios (CA).

Her main passions are fantasy (MTG, D&D, video games, boardgames and literature), world-building, tennis, cooking and coming up with humorous names for her multitude of plants. ​
